1 to 1.5 Hour Activities:

  • Visit the Carl Hayden Visitor Center to look out over the dam, view exhibits and short films, and to check out the book/gift store.
  • Call 928-608-6072 to sign up for a 45-minute tour of the dam.
  • Walk out to Horseshoe Bend.
  • Visit the Powell Museum and Page Lake Powell Visitors Center.

Half to All Day Activities:

  • Rent a boat, kayak, or paddleboard and explore Lake Powell.
  • Visit Rainbow Bridge National Monument.


Page/Lake Powell Activities for October/November/December


  • Art Walk every Friday night (weather permitting) through November. The Art Walk takes place on the front lawn of the Powell Museum (and Visitors Center), from 4-9. Free entry.
  • Artist of the Month every first Friday, where the museum hosts an artist in-person, and displays their collection for that month. The Artist of the Month takes place inside the Museum. Contact Natalie at 928-209-3284 for more information. Free admission, donations appreciated.
  • Check out the John Wesley Powell Museum. Free admission, donations appreciated.
